Overview
The concept of potential dimensions proposes a new way of understanding the internal structure of space. Instead of relying on fixed geometric axes, this framework describes each point in space as a directional system capable of generating a finite number of orientations. By treating space as a granular and dynamic medium, potential dimensions reveal that directions are not infinite abstractions but measurable physical entities. This approach is based on the idea that every point in space contains an internal directional capacity. When this capacity is examined down to the smallest meaningful scale, it becomes possible to determine how many distinct orientations a point can offer. Dimensions therefore become physical directions rather than mathematical constructs, emerging from the intrinsic geometry of space. Potential dimensions provide a foundation for modeling particles as directional structures, interpreting trajectories as sequences of orientation changes, and understanding light as a phenomenon governed by local directional density. They also offer a coherent way to integrate cosmological dynamics, showing that the directions available in space evolve with motion, rotation, and variations in density. By redefining dimensions as dynamic orientations, this framework opens the door to a new physics in which space is active, structured, and capable of generating measurable directional richness. It offers a unified perspective for studying geometry, matter, energy, and the large‑scale behavior of the Universe.
