OFFICIAL RULES OF THE KYZIS.ORG FORUM

Welcome to the Kyzis.org forum.

The forum is a space dedicated to discussion, research, theories, simulations, and their development.

Participating in the forum means respecting others while allowing genuine and constructive criticism of ideas.

1. RESPECT AND NO INTIMIDATION

Intimidation is not tolerated on Kyzis.org.

Harassment, threats, insults, personal attacks, repeated humiliation, and behavior intended to belittle or intimidate another member are prohibited.

Disagreements are permitted and are part of the research process.

However, disagreements must focus on ideas, methods, data, calculations, experiments, and arguments rather than becoming attacks against individuals.

2. EVOLVING RESEARCH AND THEORIES

Research, theories, hypotheses, simulations, and documents published on Kyzis.org may change and may contain errors.

A publication may be corrected, expanded, revised, or replaced when new information, experiments, or insights become available.

There is no reason to ridicule a theory or its author simply because a proposal is speculative, incomplete, or potentially incorrect.

The purpose of the forum is to advance theories and research through discussion, constructive criticism, verification, and the exchange of ideas.

3. CRITICISM OF IDEAS IS PERMITTED

A theory published on Kyzis.org may be questioned and criticized.

It is permitted to:

  • explain why a hypothesis appears to be incorrect;
  • request evidence;
  • point out an error in calculation or reasoning;
  • present a counterargument;
  • propose another interpretation;
  • compare a proposal with established scientific knowledge;
  • propose an experiment or method for testing a hypothesis.

Rigorous criticism is not intimidation when it remains focused on the content and respects the people involved.

4. GENERAL CONDUCT

Spam and abusive advertising are prohibited.

Fraud, impersonation, and deliberate attempts to deceive other members are prohibited.

Threats, harassment, hateful discrimination, and incitement to violence are prohibited.

Publishing another person's personal information without their permission is prohibited.

Members must respect copyright and cite their sources when appropriate.

Topics must be posted in a relevant category.

Using multiple accounts to circumvent a sanction or moderation decision is prohibited.

Clearly illegal content is prohibited.

5. SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL DISCUSSION

No theory is protected from criticism.

Members are encouraged to clearly distinguish between:

  • a hypothesis;
  • a prediction;
  • a simulation;
  • an experimental result;
  • an interpretation;
  • an observation;
  • an established fact.

A discussion may therefore deeply challenge a theory while remaining respectful.

6. MODERATION

Moderators and the administrator may intervene when content or behavior violates these rules.

Depending on the situation, an intervention may include:

  • a reminder of the rules;
  • a warning;
  • modification or removal of content;
  • closing a discussion;
  • suspension;
  • banning.

Deliberately circumventing a sanction may result in additional measures.

7. REPORTING

When a member encounters content that appears to violate the rules, it is preferable to use the forum's reporting system rather than turning the discussion into a conflict.

The moderation team can then review the situation.

8. PURPOSE OF THE FORUM

Kyzis.org aims to enable the constructive exchange and confrontation of ideas.

A theory may begin as a hypothesis, be criticized, corrected, developed, tested, and eventually replaced.

An error can contribute to advancing research when it is identified and understood.

The purpose of the forum is therefore not to protect theories from criticism.

Its purpose is to create an environment in which they can be discussed and developed without their authors being intimidated or ridiculed.

9. EVOLUTION OF THE RULES

These rules may evolve along with Kyzis.org and its community.

The version published on Kyzis.org constitutes the current version of the forum rules.

Thank you for helping maintain a respectful, critical, open, and constructive environment.
